Review: Rugged Suppressors Surge w/ 300blk , 308 and 5.56

surge-tavor-snowIn our latest review we take a look at the Surge from Rugged Suppressors and Silencer .  Testing includes a CMMG AR15 in .300blk , DPMS G2 Recon in .308 and the IWI Tavor X95 in 5.56 .

In the next few days an article will be out here on 13C about using the Surge while predator hunting and the fantastic results from last weekend.

  1. A 9 inch .30 caliber silencer rated up to .300 Remington Ultra Mag
  2. A 7.5 inch .30 caliber silencer rated for the same but shorter and lighter
  3. A 9 inch 5.56 silencer that will perform as well if not better than any other product
  4. A 7.5 inch 5.56 silencer for the times when weight matters more than sound performance

Part of our testing involved some predator control.  This particular pack of Coyotes have caused numerous issues in the area, including attacking a dog on a neighboring property 2 weeks earlier as well as livestock and chicken coups in the area.

As referenced in the video, here are the two coyotes which were taken using Federal Fusion ammo at 125 yards and 150 yards.
