SIG SAUER SRD556 QD silencer review w/ Galil ACE and X95 Tavor

While shooting 5.56 through barrels under 16″ is a lot of fun, there is a huge negative associated with the shorter barrel length… a dramatic increase in both noise and concussion coming while shooting.

One of the most effective means to tame that noise and the blast is using a silencer.  It won’t just make your experience better, any fellow range mates will be extremely grateful to you as well.

The SRD556 QD from SIG is a silencer weighting in at 14 ounces and having an overall length of 6.5″.  It’s full auto rated and has a dB reduction in the area of about 32dB.
