Holosun PARALOW HS515C-U Red Dot review, testing and water submersion testing.
The HS515C-U is a 5.6 ounce optic which features a crisp 65 MOA Circle and 2MOA cent Dot reticle. During the course of our testing we’ve bumped it around and during the final review we do a submersion demonstration on camera to help prove the IP 67 rating for dust and water resistance.
The HS515C-U includes flip up lens caps, a kill flash and high and low risers for the included quick release mount. The solar panel on top allows for the device to be power by the sun as well as function of the ambient light meter for the automatic brightness feature. For those situations where automatic brightness may not be ideal, it has a full manual mode that features 12 levels of brightness, including night vision settings.
Under manual mode you can also select the standard Circle / Dot setting or run the 2MOA dot without the large circle.
Battery life ranges from 10,000 hours all the way up to 50,000 hours when set to setting 6 using just the 2MOA center dot.
